Journey to Zermatt

Zermatt is a car-free village. Access for private vehicles is permitted as far as the village of Täsch, which is about 5 km away. The Täsch-Zermatt road is closed to public traffic. If you have any questions about your journey, we will be happy to help you.

Arrival by train

If you are traveling by train, you have daily train connections from all surrounding airports from 6 a.m. to around midnight, which will take you to the final stop in Zermatt. Just give us a call and we will be happy to pick you up. On the website www.sbb.ch to check the best time for your journey.

Arrival by car

You can drive your car to the village of Täsch, which is about five kilometers before Zermatt. As soon as you reach Täsch, stay on the main road until you see the golden locomotive on the left-hand side. There you will find the "Ante Portas" parking garage with over 160 parking spaces. Here you can reserve a parking space in advance. Cabs are available at the parking garage to take you to Zermatt.
